SOLVAO 7.5W Solar Trickle Charger & Battery Maintainer

Works great on my 12 Starting Battery in my Boat. I run my Trolling motor more than I do my big motor . My starting battery has to run live well pump , bilge pump , lights , radio & 1- 4â€ Garmin depth finder. The Solvao 7.5 Watt , keeps the battery up.

I have a vehicle that does not get driven very often and even with a fairly new battery it would often need a jump start when I wanted to use it. I have had this SOLVAO 7.5W Solar Trickle Charger & Battery Maintainer connected through the cigarette lighter for about a month now and the van has started both times I used it in that time. The battery turned the engine over with little effort instead of the slow speed growling I had come to expect. The one negative comment I have is really not about the solar charger itself but the lack of a protective case or cover for it, when not in use when I am driving. The 13 x 13 plus size makes it hard to find a caser to protect the glass when it is not being used to charge while driving.

I used this to charge a LiFePO battery I set up on a set of string lights. This unit sat outside for months, connected to that battery. It had dust build up, bird droppings, rain, and a water hose sprayed at it. It has an LED that shows when it has an output. This output LED was lit well into dusk, with no direct sunlight on it. It is sturdy and comes with multiple connector types for many different applications. Perfect for camping or other outdoor excursions, or to supplement RV power.

Got this as a thank you gift for a friend who helped me out a lot during the pandemic. He was looking for something that can keep his ATV charged and hes not sure if his old charger was working. This one was an easy plug and play option with an indicator light that shows its working. The all weather design is another plus since its been left out in the driveway for months with no problem. So far so good :)

This has been working well to keep the battery up in my truck. Since I cycle to work my truck barely ever gets used. There's enough electrical gizmos inside to drain the battery so it's a dead lump of Nissan when I go to use it. While I don't have the panel stuck outside, it's working just fine in the sun roof. It's not pretty but it took all of about 20 seconds to stick it in the sunroof and plug into the lighter socket. When I go to use the truck it takes a few seconds more to stow it away. Super easy. Barely an inconvenience. - RG - I recommend this solar panel kit to keep your truck from becoming a dead lump of Nissan.
